We are two Broadway actors who have known each
other for several years. Over the years
we've discovered we have many common interests:
good food, good wine and great theater. While
working together in the national tour of Les
Miserables we recently discovered that
we had another common interest, the stories of
the people in the world of theater.
James Chip Leonard (chip@broadwaylivingtrial.com)
was raised on a farm on the plains of Iowa. It's
there that he had his first exposure to the limelight
when he won the Iowa State
Fair talent search. He received a BFA in Acting
from SUNY Purchase. His theatrical credits
include the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, 110
In The Shade at the New York City Opera and
numerous roles in the final Broadway company, the
3rd National
Tour and the current Broadway revival of Les
Miserables. Chip
is also a professional editor, director, producer
and videographer. He has directed two feature
films and his video clients include Mercedes Benz,
Fortune 500 companies and many mid-size and small
companies.
Roger Seyer (roger@broadwaylivingtrial.com) grew
up in Southeast Missouri on the banks of the Mississippi
River. He's the sixth
of eight children. He earned his first paycheck
as a professional performer at the age of 19 from
Six Flags over Mid-America where he performed in
the "Miss Kitty's Revue". He
graduated from Millikin University in Decatur, IL
with a BFA in Musical Theater and a minor in Dance. Roger
has worked as a producer, director and choreographer
but mainly as an actor. His theatrical credits
include numerous regional theater appearances, the
national tours of Les Miserables and Mamma
Mia, and the Broadway productions of Miss
Saigon and Les
Miserables.
The stories we've heard from our colleagues over
the years have amused, amazed and fascinated us,
so much so that the idea for this web site grew out
of a desire to share their stories with you. We
hope you'll be just as intrigued as we are. |
